Adult Farm Camp at Susanna Farms

Escape the everyday and spend a day experiencing life on a working farm. Whether you’ve dreamed of owning a small homestead, want to deepen your connection with animals, or simply enjoy learning new skills in a peaceful setting, Adult Farm Camp offers a fun, hands-on day of learning, relaxation, and connection.
Optional Morning Yoga
7:30–8:30 a.m. (Donation-based) Begin your day with a gentle yoga session in the big barn, surrounded by the peaceful sounds of the farm.
Camp Schedule
8:30–9:00 a.m. Gather for a light farm breakfast, coffee, and introductions before we begin our day together.
Morning Farm & Equine Experiences
Spend the morning rotating through hands-on activities with our animals, including:
· A 30-minute semi-private horseback riding lesson for every participant
· Time with our horses, chickens, turkeys, goats, and sheep
· Instruction in animal husbandry and daily farm care
· Practical tips for anyone interested in backyard farming or creating their own small homestead
Lunch & Farm Relaxation
Enjoy a relaxing lunch in the big barn followed by free time to:
· Walk the farm trails
· Journal or read
· Meditate by the pond or in the gardens
· Spend quiet time connecting with the animals and nature
Afternoon Farm Skills
Roll up your sleeves and experience what it takes to care for a small farm as the seasons change. Learn about:
· Driving our tractor
· Pasture management
· Composting
· Hay handling and storage
· Preparing animals and shelters for winter
· Daily chores that keep a farm healthy and thriving
This is a hands-on experience designed to give you a genuine taste of farm life while creating lasting memories and new skills.
Overnight Camping Option
Extend your experience with optional Sunday night camping at Susanna Farms. Wake up surrounded by nature and begin your camp day refreshed and ready for adventure.
Registration: $150 per person
Camp Hours: 8:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
